The Emergency Medicine Foundation (EMF) has set a goal of raising $200,000 during this year’s Council Challenge—the largest goal in the program’s history. Conducted over two days during the ACEP14 Council Meeting Oct. 25–26, the Council Challenge raises funds to advance emergency medicine through research and education. To date, EMF has awarded more than $10 million in research awards that benefit the millions of patients who rely on quality health care each year.
Because ACEP underwrites all EMF administrative costs, 100 percent of donations to EMF directly support emergency medicine research, and your donation is completely tax deductible.
For almost four decades, EMF-supported research has helped define the specialty within the house of medicine and continues to refine emergency medicine today.
