ACEP’s first headquarters was in the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) offices in East Lansing, Michigan. ACEP had a management agreement with MSMS, under which the society provided executive and support staff services for the College.

May 1976: ACEP moved to an office building at 3900 Capital City Boulevard near the Capital Region International Airport in Lansing.

May 5, 1980
ACEP headquarters moved from Lansing to Dallas. The staff worked from leased office space in Irving, Texas, while a permanent office building was constructed.

ACEP broke ground on a new headquarters, located on a two-acre tract of land in Irving.

May 21, 1983
ACEP moved into its headquarters at 1125 Executive Circle in Irving. The new building was two stories tall and approximately 30,000 square feet.

April 26, 2015
ACEP broke ground on a new headquarters, located on a six-acre tract of land near the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

August 26, 2016
ACEP staff moved into its current headquarters at 4950 West Royal Lane in Irving. The new building is three stories tall and approximately 57,000 square feet and features modern audio-visual technology, ample meeting facilities, and many exhibits honoring ACEP’s history and accomplishments. It will be ACEP’s new home for many years to come.
From a humble start sharing office space with the Michigan State Medical Society to its new state-of-the-art headquarters building, ACEP has had several addresses since 1968. Here’s a tour of the places ACEP has called home during its first 50 years.
