The Boy Scouts of America are hoping to recruit approximately 100 emergency physician volunteers for the 2013 National Scout Jamboree. The event will take place July 15-24, 2013, at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve, adjacent to West Virginia’s New River Gorge National River area.

More than 45,000 scouts and adults will attend the
10-day event. Twenty medical clinics staffed by physicians, NPs, PAs, and RNs will provide care around the clock. Physicians can volunteer for the entire jamboree or for half of the event.
