Dr. Avarello is the Interim Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Hofstra North Shore–Long Island Jewish School of Medicine. Medical Editor Dr. Robert C. Solomon is faculty for the emergency medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
