The above meta-analysis by Meurer et al concludes that CT alone is insufficient to R/O SAH. Still, the points made in reference 8 by Dubosh et al. spin the story only slightly differently. The best solution: Think, document your thoughts and give good discharge instructions if/when you send someone home when SAH was in your differential.
