If found to be effective, this innovative intervention could easily be developed into a stand-alone intervention program to provide widespread support with minimal disruption to normal clinical practices. Additionally, it could easily be included as one element in a multi-component intervention, such as a “booster” to traditional in-person counseling interventions.
